Best brunch spots in NYC

Because we all need a break from the madness that is New York Fashion Week. Forget all the avocado toasts in the world, all the green juice and Matcha lattes. What determines a great brunch spot? Key word: BOTTOMLESS.

Because everything tastes better with a mimosa (or five).

So when you take a break from fashion shows, fittings, stalking celebrities and all that – check out the best brunch spots in New York City. Forget Jack’s Wife Freda, The Butcher’s Daughter and all the Instagram-perfect-hip-trendy-crowded places. Unless you want to wait in line for at least an hour to get some avocado on a piece of bread for $13.

Sotto 13 – 140 West 13th St, New York, NY 10011

Perfect for sharing pizza with your besties – for $35 per person you get a pizza, two main courses and a side AND a carafe of mimosas or Bloody Mary. They also have a DIY prosecco bar so you can mix your own pureed fruit and liquors if you’re feeling adventurous. My recommendation: butcher’s scramble.

Hotel Chantelle – 92 Ludlow St, New York, NY 10002

They have an amazing rooftop seating area so try this place in the summer/early fall/ during fashion week in September. Oh, and you can get brunch cocktails for 92cents. Ninety. Two. Cents. My recommendation: truffle egg fondue.

Barbounia – 250 Park Avenue South, New York, NY 10002

Unlimited champagne cocktails + delicious shakshouka, what more do you need? My recommendation: Turkish eggs.

Three of Cups – 83 First Avenue, New York, NY 10003

This low-key East Village eatery is truly a hidden gem. For $8 you can enjoy unlimited mimosas with your yummy Italian-style breakfast. My recommendation: ouva al forno aka eggs baked on a bed of greens with mozzarella and prosciutto.
